Early Head Start

Early Head Start provides services to low-income families with infants, toddler, and pregnant women.

Serves children prenatal to age three

Provides early intervention through high-quality programs that enhance the children’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development

Is a comprehensive service that focuses on early childhood development and education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement

Enables parents to be better teachers and caregivers for their children through education opportunities

Helps parents meet their own goals, including economic independence

Encourages and promotes parent/family activities
