Housing Programs
Housing encompasses several programs that deal with larger scale housing issues. The following are three programs that help with housing in Region V of North Dakota.
RVCDC: The Region V Community Development Corporation has a principle purpose of planning, developing, owning, and managing affordable housing projects in Southeastern North Dakota. These projects benefit lower income households, which are households with an annual income that does not exceed 80% of the county median income level.
The RVCDC has developed over 100 units of single and multi-family rental housing in the communities of Lisbon, Gwinner, Milnor, Hankinson, Hatton, Wahpeton and Fargo. Projects developed by the Corporation include the rehabilitation of existing buildings, new construction and single family developments.
The RVCDC was established in 1995 as a charitable non-profit affiliate to SENDCAA. Please visit www.rvcdc.org for more information.
