Overview

SouthEastern North Dakota Community Action Agency works to raise awareness and help people affected by our cause. Our success is measured in the number of people we can help with the quality of programs and services we provide. These programs are fueled by our dedicated staff, caring volunteers and generous donors like you. 

Our Programs

  • Ensures the nutritional well-being of children through education, financial assistance, and professional training of Home Child Care providers.

  • Full day, year-round services for Head Start and low-income families, providing a safe and friendly environment that encourages children to learn.

  • Provides services to low-income families with a comprehensive program to meet their emotional, social, health, and educational needs. Head Start offers a preschool curriculum for three and four year olds as well as a full-day/part-day classroom for three and five year olds. 

  • Planning, developing, owning, and managing affordable housing projects in southeastern North Dakota.

  • Provides a variety of services all designed to improve the standard of living and help promote the self-sufficiency of low-income individuals.

  • The nation's core program for delivering energy efficiency services to low-income households.
